A beautiful scale Ryan Nyp "Spirit Of St Louis" as flown by Charles Lindbergh from New York to Paris in 1927. The model was built and flown by Robert Mahoney, chairman of the BEFA. This video was shot at the BEFA Electric Day held at the Phoenix MFC, Lowestoft.

  • I'm interested in the music. Does anyone know the name of the music accompanying this video?

  • Beautiful I hope to build a smaller one one day!!

  • is that the Ziroli version?

  • Inspiring!!!

  • Great Flying! Very nice model! I have one made from the old Royal Kit about the same size as yours, but I have found that it is very unstable about the pitch axis. Did you increase the horizontal tail area over the scale size?

  • Climbs like a monkey!

  • Absolutly An Excellent Replica. Ever seen the movie Spirit of St. Louis if Not Check That out.
