If folks would do some real RESEARCH; they would see that the Black People enslaved themselves! Yep, thier OWN people first captured and SOLD to the Portuguese, who were the greatest sailors BEFORE the British! Black People CREATED the International Slave trade, AND sold their OWN people to the Europeans! TRUTH!

Have you ever taken a history class? Ever? More than nine centuries of slavery existed on the African continent before and into the arrival of the Europeans, at which point the earliest slaves that were sold were prisoners of war between warring states. There were even those who developed a business model of Africans selling their own kind for a profit. Open a book, illiterate apologist. Don't make statements you can't fluently support with facts.

@AceKing2012 are you serious? There were thousands of black slave owners in the South before and during the civil war you dolt. That is a fact. Stop using race as a way to stir up shit. So called negros and africans are not the same people. So to say that their own people sold them shows u need to do more historical research. and it wasnt called the international slave trade it was called the arab slave trade which was before the trans atlantic slave trade.

Slavery in africa is not the same as slavery with white and arabs. African slavery meant you are still a human being and treated as such. @MrBlade0012 That's the point I'm trying to make everyone had slaves, but the complete mistreatment of slaves and concepts of racial inferiority were created by Europeans. Everyone had slaves, which is a known fact but the person I was responding too said that's blacks were responsible for the international slave trade which is completely untrue.

@AceKing2012 Actually it was muslim traders that created and ran the trans-atalantic slave trade. Buying black slaves from from ribal black tribes and either shipping them to the middle east or marching them across deserts where the mortality rate of these poor souls was 80%

@matt77671 Slaves existed in Asia as well, but the mistreatment and dehumanizing slaves were the cruelty of the British. What happened to the Indians was the testament that the Europeans cannot accepted other races at the time.
