@David315842 I suggest that you (boofdfast) but Cereal Geek magazine and read the 'Animation Nation' articles in these issues, you might just learn something!
-
@David315842 Sorry it's cheaper to hire foreign studios, etc. You'll be surprised how much work Toei did for Marvel Productions in the 80's and they worked with Hanna-Barbera, DiC and MWS on a few productions too, some of which are very well known, like the first season of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the American Rabbit, Defenders of the Earth, Muppet Babies, Jem etc. Other studios from Japan like Sunrise, TMS etc. were also being hired at the time to provide animation for American cartoons!
-
@boofdfast Well someone is VERY misinformed and dosen't know much about American animation history at all! Marvel is NOT an animation studio, it was a production company, they and Sunbow hired Toei Animation to provide them with animation for most of their shows, this is due to the fact it's cheaper to hire animation done overseas then in America! Claster is a distribution company set up by Hasbro, it distributed the shows toUS Networks for syndication!

@David315842 WTF, are you talking about? TFs and GI Joe was made by Claster/Marvel Animation... they are American NOT Japanese. Toei Animation made Sailor Moon. The later 91 and after G1 Transformers series was animated in Japan, not the 84-90.
Toonami had the power to make any show look amazing
