Late Halloween present: Shiny Spiritomb after nearly 12,700 SRs!

Oh yeah baby, this shiny is fucking incredible!

After I obtained the 3 Johto Starters, I attempted to look for 3 "easier" targets to hunt before I attempted to go off and hunt the Unova and Sinnoh starters. These three targets were Spinarak on HeartGold, Spiritomb on Diamond and Cranidos on Diamond. The first of these I attempted was Spiritomb, a Pokemon with an amazing shiny form, which makes it all the more depressing that barely anybody actually chooses to hunt it. I expected this to be a fairly easy hunt considering Diamond hasn't given me a shiny in ages and I have been hunting a fair bit on it, but when I reached further on into the hunt? I knew that this wouldn't be the case and that I'd have to work hard to get the shiny I so desire. I of course don't mind this, since as a hunter I'm expected to be patient, but despite this I still wanted it to appear soon.

When it actually showed up, I was in awe, it looked just as gorgeous on screen as I imagined! I swiftly made my capture and expressed my joy to fellow SHU member and close friend Storm_Dragoon, who appreciated my contribution to our team, the Shiny Chasers! So far, we're at a comfortable lead in the November hunts, but who knows what'll happen from here on in...
