I grew up in Glendora from 1962 till joining the army in '75.got out in '78 and never moved back.It was a nice place to raise a family back in the day.I visited only once in '98.I lived on Lemon street right behind the railroad tracks.I use to ride my mx'er on GMR all the time .Run from the cops .Once almost went over the side when there was a lil snow on the ground.

@oregonbowguy glendora used to kick ass i lived there from 1968 to 1997 mauna loa dang glendora use to rock gmr on the weekend i sure miss it south hills park now its all all houses

we used to have a bmx track up there in south hills. i found this trying to find a satellite view so i could see if maybe it was still there. i wanted to take my son up there. seems unlikely its still there

They are getting rid of the old street lamps in downtown from 100 years ago beacuase they are "too old".

Same stuff is happening here in AZ. Development is ripping the heart out of AZ. So sad.

Back in the 70's I use to bow hunt the South Hills. My friend would fly his red tailed hawk for rabbits and GHS kids would go park to watch the submarine races at night. It was either that or GMR. Nothing but development now!
