Very much a work in progress, this is the sixth movement of seven of the Bach cello suite no. 1 for cello transcribed for electric bass. Bass tuned EADGC, recorded direct into Garage Band.

  • wow. thats probably the 20th video ive watched in a row. (subscribed) im entranced sir. keep up the amazing work

  • would not think to play bach on a electric bass but sounds pretty well and you played it really good!!

  • well played i think its only when you play bach you really understand how inventive he was compared with pop music there is no comparison what so ever although it would be bloody interesting to see what he could turn out with cubase

  • Nice work! You really bring a lot to this piece with your interpretation.

  • friend as usually extremely helpful. I am very grateful for your video's! - a very elementary question, but meaningful to me. when you say that you recorded it into garage band. How exactly is that done? how do you pug a bass into a computer or laptop to record? Will garage band automatically recognize it once its done?

  • Beautiful!

  • Awesome.

  • thank you, they were all very beautiful

  • I just listened to you play all of the movements and you did a fantastic job. What a nice mellow tone...I would have never thought to hear Bach on the electric bass but it's great!
