I really liked the tutorial. But I am a little confused about a couple of steps. Why did you apply all of the black and then cover it up with the red hue? I can see a little of the black causing the red to be a shade darker. Just curious.

Im a complete novice but for sure Im going to try and do something similar. cd u pls let me know what sort of colors u use (oil/acrylic)? also what was that white/transparent thing u put on the black paint (before the red paint) sorry for stupid questions but im so inspired.. wd love to try..
