Afghan Kung Fu Movie - Arrest of a Taliban Suspect (English Version) pt1

Here is our huge semester three/final project. We were planning this since the first semester. It's filmed in the Dari dialect of Persian also known as Farsi, which is spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan. The Dari dialect is from Kabul, Afghanistan but spoken almost all over the country along with Pashtu, the other official language of Afghanistan.

This project is important to me because it had the three things I love most: Islam, Kung Fu and languages. I trained Baktash (the airman with red hair) in Lien Bu Quan for about three months and I trained Samad (the bald airman) in Xingyi for about one month; he also has wrestling and Krav Maga skills. I'm using various longfist styles (Northern Shaolin, Fanzi, Tongbei, Pigua) and Yang & Guang Ping Yang Taiji. There are some Hung Gar techniques here and there.

For real kung fu movie fans, there is a lot of authentic kung fu movie music here! And the choreography is in a new school - old school fusion. I mean, using northern style mostly and tradtional movements but in faster speed than the older movies which are two-beat and use mostly southern styles. There isn't a lot of work nowadays with using traditional kung fu in fast speed, because modern films always use "street fighting" instead.
