According to Jesus, the Abomination of Desolation must defile the Temple in Jerusalem in the middle of the seven years (70th week of Daniel) (Mat. 24:15) BEFORE the Son of Man can come back and gather His elect to heaven (v30-31). So how can the Son come back before the seven years, much less at any moment?

@abidingbev Actually the entire eschatology that depicts the tribulation as being 7 years at the end of time was developed by the jesuits. Please watch this video. It's very important information.

As we speak millions of born again pastors are teaching the coming of the Lord is drawing near, at any moment (Mat. 24:4-5) Jesus warns believers not to follow after them. Why? Because the Antichrist must invade Jerusalem before Christians are gathered to heaven during the coming of the Son of Man, no man knows the day or hour. (Mat. 24:15-36)

Satan is Antichrist. He will decieve many.

Jesus will dethrone him and throw him into the Lake of Fire.

And the saints must hold fast until this happens.

@hopgoblin1 And how were those weeks ascertained? Do the Jews have a special creation calendar? No. They used the moons, or months as we call it. So, the Sabbath was most certainly held according to a lunar calendar. Your comment above stated that you agree that the sabbaths were kept according to a lunar calendar but not the Sabbath. Did the Jews have two calendars? Not until the civic solar calendar gained sway.

ps I suppose the Didache and epistle of Barnabus are forgeries too?

The Sabbaths, "plural" were kept by the lunar calander, agreed. The lunar sabbaths were the ceremonial sabbaths e.g., the feast of unleavend bread, passover, the feast of first fruits; these could fall on any day of the week as stated in Lev. 23:37. However, the 7th Day sabbath was institued as a creation memorial to be kept on every 7th day of the week.
