Days Like These was a short-lived attempt to remake That 70s Show for a British television audience. This episode, Equal Rites is a redo of the original episode Battle of the Sexists. Love Erics dress!
Why do British TV shows look like they still use cameras from 1987? If I didn't know better, I'd think this show came first and "That 70's Show" was based off of this!
@GreenPencil305 It had an initial run of 13 episodes with a further nine if it became a hit. Blame Alison Graham of the Radio Times (UK equivalent of the TV Guide) the show's fiercest critic for the unaired episodes. When they started airing the remaining episodes in the early hours she accused ITV of bringing it back from the dead.
You know, I would've liked them to do more episodes of "Days Like These". At least, probably the whole first season. I mean, they didn't do remakes of all the episodes of "That '70s Show" like "The Keg", "The First Date", "Career Day", "That Wrestling Show", "Prom Night", "The Best Christmas Ever", "Punk Chick", "Ski Trip", "A New Hope", "Water Tower", "Hyde Moves In", and "The Good Son".
@Bladerunner93 Me too. In fact, I would have like to have seen all the other episodes like "Eric The Burger Chef" (Remake of "Eric's Burger Job), "Stolen Car" (Remake of "Stolen Car"), and "Double Bill" (Remake of "Drive-In"). Or even the two episode that weren't aired on television, like Episode 12 (Remake of "Thanksgiving"), and Episode 13 (Remake of "Eric's Buddy").
