@anchrous I get that... and I never said the boxing one was filler, I was just asked by someone else if that's what I meant. "Hero" was the episode that I considered to be "filler". I just thought that particular episode (the boxing one) wasn't very good. It just dragged on and on... then the DVD set had an extended version of that episode... yuck.

@Bawbster1 The boxing episode wasn't filler, though. It provided closure/explanations for several characters' threads between seasons 2 and 3, and it was the launch pad for the apollo/starbuck relationship,

@vmfjru47 No, the one where the pilot comes back to "haunt" Adama. He escapes by hi-jacking a cylon fighter the same way Starbuck did... Although I wasn't too crazy about the boxing episode either, those two were the worst episodes. The rest were amazing.

@Psypomp Jesus No, Black Market was a good episode which showed even the good guys are flawed, that episode was great - Filler episode would be "Hero". Ok, Starbuck figured out and stumbled upon a way to fly the cylon fighter... but another person doing the same thing? Blah. Would've been better if they had him steal a commandeered raptor. I wasn't to crazy about the "boxing" episode either.

BSG - one of the best shows of all time. In the 4 seasons, only 1 episode could be considered "filler". The Soundtrack is amazing (The shape of things to come from season 2, I think, is my fav., which this song is a lot like), great dramatic themes, great acting, special effects that rivals the motion picture industry, realistic characters, and the show closes with one of the best finales ever. Best Sci-Fi ever, even non-sci-fi fans enjoy this show.

Kara and Lee's relationship is so angst-filled that sometimes it's too sad to watch. All I wanted is for them to be happy. D:
