A varied group of seven individual high-altitude climbers from across the United States gathered in Ecuador for one extraordinary week of climbing and culture in June 2009. They would come to refer to themselves as Team Gringos Con Gas. Here is a brief glimpse of their adventures: from the Pasochoa Forest Reserve (12,600 ft elev) to Illiniza Norte (16,000 ft elev) - to eventually Cotopaxi (19,348 ft elev) and Cayambe (18,998 ft elev).
