Victory at Sea is a documentary TV series about naval warfare during World War II that was originally aired by NBC in 26 half-hour segments on Sunday afternoons, starting October 26, 1952, and ending May 3, 1953. It is now in the public domain.

...about halfway through, check out the pilot(?) in the P-40 cockpit as the aircraft is lifted onto/off of the ship. Its as if he's saying ''this is my ride when we get to Casablanca and I'm gonna make sure it gets there in one piece''. I believe he's wearing his parachute, flight helmet and Mae West too, prolly ;-)

AS am old sailor I was impressed with this documentary, only time has given us a different vision and view on things then when the documentary was made in1953
But as my father(1912 born) always said we should thanks the USA for intervention in those days.
