  • what song is playing in this video? if you are on facebook please join my cause on lets put a end to fetal alcohol and fetal alcohol spectrum disorder! i have a adopted son with FASD and I see its not fair!

  • The song is "Lament of Beauty" by Chris Kellerman, John's brother. Chris does not have FASD, in fact he is gifted. Chris has never had a music lesson in his life, and he composes beautiful music on my antique upright piano.

  • FAS is nothing new; I'm sure the problem existed in England in the 1700's when cheap gin became the "drug" of the time. But Kids with FAS in those days probably died or wound up in jail.

I had kids in my class with FAS, and none of them had parents. One of them was adopted by his aunt the day he was born, but the others lived in foster homes and were tossed out when the foster parents couldn't handle them anymore.

  • Good slide show. I have FAS so I really know what it's like. Check out my videos at TriLevelMan.

  • Great Video. Shows the true faces of FASD

  • The faces & degrees of FAS are well displayed; in our daily lives we see so many that have no clue why they don't quite fit the "normal" mold. That innocent child is the beauty, the lack of impulse control & no logic is the agony. It is amazing how our FAS kids will find other FAS kids at school or in parks & play grounds. There are plenty of FAS kids, diagnosed or not, the parental denial of ingesting alcohol while pregnant is an amazing defense mechanism.

  • Thank you. My son has FASD and to an extent, so does his sister. We need to get the word out there so other children don't have to go thru the messed up lives that these kids are going thru. God bless
