Oo la la! The late '70s/early '80s New York Rangers really had no shame!

Here, Don Maloney, Ron Greschner, Anders Hedberg and Phil Esposito act like buffoons while skating around in Sasson's line of casual menswear.

Yes, lady, if you hung out at Studio 54, these guys SHOULD look familiar.

(For the record, I am a Ranger fan - fortunately, these glamour boys were before my time)

  • Sorry ladies, but I don't think they like girls.

  • The Isles were busy winning cups, while the Rangers were busy being slack jawed pole smokers.

  • I'm sure glad those times are gone.

  • @1957pinup Wait correction, the rangers have never had a plus 50 goal scorer they drafted hahahah.

    After 86 years!!! hahaha

The Oilers won the last cup, you needed 90% of their team so you would stop crying when we chanted 1940!!! Through out the NHL.

    BWAHAHAHAHA

  • @1957pinup Rangers have never even drafted a player who could score more then 54 goals. Isles have done the feat 3 times, Bossy (best pure goal scorer of all time) Lafontaine and Turgeon.

How 'bout them Rangers? HAHAHAHA. Original 6 losers!

  • @1957pinup From 1981 to '84 the Isles personally eliminated the Rangers 4 straight years, 3 of which bringing the Stanley Cup back to New York as only the Isles could do. 4 Straight years HAHAHA

1981 Rangers outscored 28-8 in the semi-finals vs the Isles who completed the sweep at the garden in front of the rangers "lovely" fans who left after the Isles won a face off to the right of Baker, puck goes back to Langevin who scores to make it 5-2 Isles.

    BWAHAHAHAHAHA

  • @1957pinup Not testy at all, I have seen the Isles win 4 cups and go to 5 finals all in succession of each other. Only Canadiens fans older than myself can understand what that was like.

Only one who was crying were the Rangers, when they could have gone up 2-0 if not for a stupid penalty at the end of the second game that allowed that power play goal to tie it and then you losers lost in OT. hahahahaha

    1 cups to 4 since 1972

    Who is crying now? ha

  • @mrceebees14 You sure get testy when proven WRONG lol. Again, when this commercial aired, the Rangers (in the 'gay' commercial) had just sent the Islanders home crying :). So the 'gay' Rangers OWNED your faggot Islanders. And modern era? 4 to 1? Who won the Cup LAST (after out-scoring the Islanders 22-3 LOLOL)...bitch? :)

  • Sean Avery would have done this commercial for free and then beat off to it there after.

  • @1957pinup The only whooping that went on was what the Canadiens did to the rangers in the next round.

The commercial is still gay as shit, no matter what you say.

4 cups to 1 in the modern era bitch.

  • @mrceebees14 Actually when the Rangers' jeans commercials were out, the Isles had won no Cups yet and the Rangers had just whooped their asses in the '79 semi-finals.

  • @rockintetster, you are correct! Vidal Sassoon sued & FORCED the jean company to deflate their commercials to an inferior one 'O' as you see on this video :-( My neighbors used to remind me that it was ONE 'O', but even after 30+ years, I still prefer the ORIGINAL jingle: "OOH LA LA SASSOON!..." & continue to forever remember the jeans as well as the commercials with TWO 'O's: "OOH LA LA SASSOON!...."
