I'm not sure what you mean here. Since true Christianity stresses caring for and loving those in need (the marginalized), how could the poor be better off without it? If you ask me (not that you did) this world needs more love.

I pray that you will find it in your heart to understand that people with evil agendas pervert religion, it is not religion that is corrupt, but those who take it out of context are. True Christians will care for everyone regardless of differences.
