Fandango for Android Update (version 2.0.5) - find movies & theaters near you

Fandango just had a major update to their application. Let's take a look at version 2.0.5

The main screen lists movies that are popular or new this week. Clicking on a movie gives you the theaters nearby. You also have the options to watch the trailer, read the synopsis or reviews.

You can buy tickets by clicking on a theater and showtime. It's quick if you already have your credit card saved with your fandango account.

A new feature is the sliding menu. You can navigate through upcoming movies, theaters nearby, movies playing in the next hour, acount preferences, or movie search. There's now also voice search that you may want to try out.

You can do more with the app using some tricks. Press and hold a movie title to share showtimes with family and friends via email. You can long-touch a theater to get showtimes, directions, or even call.
