Hollywood star Richard Gere participates in a 10-day Buddhist ceremony led by the Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama. He's there along with thousands of pilgrims from Tibet, the Himalayan regions, Bhutan, Korea, China, and from the West.

Hollywood star Richard Gere visited the Bodhgaya, a holy place of worship for the Buddhists, in India on Wednesday.

Gere was there alongside some 200 thousand other Buddhist followers.

The Dalai Lama, the spiritual leader of Tibet, is giving a 10-day teaching on the Kalachakra in Gaya, the second largest city in Bihar, India.

Gaya is believed to be where the Buddha attained enlightenment.

The Hollywood actor is a practicing Buddhist and is considered one of the Dalai Lama's most high-profile followers.

Better known for his cult films like "Pretty Woman" and "Runaway Bride," he frequently visits Dharamsala, the headquarters of the Tibetan government-in-exile.

Meanwhile: Raja-Raj Buddha-Budh Dharma sala- Dharmsala Rama-Ram Ancient Indians translated Gangchenjang as Himalayas. Indians call Tibetans "lama log" and schools as "eschool" and measurement as "meyurment". Let's get beyond accents and into meanings and facts. Raja-Raj Arjuna-Arjun
  • @schlagerhans i we showed up, we showed up. Get over it. For me he is one of the people I look up to like Selena Perez. And also the rest of us do so just stop bothering us, we are buddhists but actually all of us should do what other people do, try to be good not try to meddle other people's tea like jobless people like you. For me our religion is art and culture and I respect the former with all my heart. We are not harming anyone so wtf should you be bothered?

  • @radsted he is not. fuck you.

  • @schlagerhansi i know hindi and tera saar tera gaar mein hoga agar tu bagwaash karna ban nahi kiya to. understood what i said? I can even speak it. And I didn't tell that you died, I just said small bunch of Americans like you are the cause of 9/11. Americans are great and a discriminating pig like you is their disgrace. and don't try to change our faith because we love DL for all he's done. So fuck you and he is not treated as a God but a great monk you atheist pig. Saur.

  • In Tibet it is Bod or Gangchenjang.

Buddhists believe that since all sentient beings, including the Buddha and great beings were formed of the elements and their physical form dissolved into the elements--then we can choose to aspire to be better by training our minds to respect enlightened being and renounce evil examples.

But borong seems to have ears that cannot hear--why not listen the teaching and give a half-decent discussion?

Buddh modern. Buddha before British colonial influence.
