I would love a glowing cat... that could fly, and save me money on gas!

You obviously did not study the subject as I have, moreover you claim you know what you are talking about and you absolutely don't. Do you think GMO companies care about making sure their GMO crops do not reproduce? Of course they don't. On the other hand, Monsanto even does own technology to create "terminator" seeds, seeds which second generations is sterile, to force farmers never to replant for free has it has always been our God given right. It is all about CASH and power.

actually those mice had in the first normal genetics in the second 1 strength limiter gene removed and in the third both strength limiting gens removed i am obsessed with this stuff also there have been humans born with one of the strength limiting genes removed the doctor was called case the baby was moving around allot he found it to have significantly more muscle then a normal baby some types of racing dogs are breed to be missing one of these genes so that they can be strong and fast

It's pretty easy to spot the corporate shills on these boards. Another peice of the puzzle for those intelligent enough to listen. Search this:

There IS a major food conspiracy on the planet and as long as people maintain their attitude of apathy, indifference and complacency, it will continue to get worse! All REAL food will slowly disappear.

@RandyBful1, how interesting.

@Marta7350: Anyone who doesn't believe that the government is tampering with genetics on humans, just like Monsanto is doing with the agriculture, is obviously not capable of thinking outside the box. Anyone with half a brain would realize that the military is working on developing the "super soldier". It's called human nature.

@Werelion2367 lol, my design specs are part squid, part dolphin, several insects, and quite a few machine interfaces. Jellyfish technology forming an integrated hybrotic prosthesis. A homunculus ^_^ any resemblance to a human is aesthetic camouflage :D
First get your facts straight. That featherless chicken came from a spontaneous mutation that was discovered (not created) and selected for. Mutation, yes. Genetically modified, NO!

@Zzzzzzap1001 Sorry. I am going to change it in the description right now.

Hypothetical: Have any of you guys seen that episode of the Xfiles where there's a human-like lifesize white wormlike creature that lives in the sewer? I know it was just TV, but do you think scientists secretly have ever tried to create human type lifeforms with genetic engineering? I bet a lot goes on that we don't know about, & no telling what has really been created and modified in the past few years.

I think the technology already exists in some forms but is not being used. For example I think that scientists could infuse animal cells on a human embryo and create a human, that could have fur on some areas on their skin. But their body might reject the foreign cells leading to a possibly nonviable individual.
