yes your 1701 shadow was a defect also so was your battery door not fitting I have one thats in perfect condition ....that being said . you did a great review I totaly agree with the size issue lol the box fooled me too . while I may not like the the design they used in the movie I knew what I was getting when I bought it . I also would like it to stay lit when flipping the switch if you ever did that did you make a video?

jj abrams wanten his enterprise to be a hybred of the original sieres enterprise and the refit enterprise check out gabriel koeners enterprise his enterprise was one of the first consepts and almost everybody including my frends liked his enterprise better then the one that was in the new movie

I happen to have freinds at Playmates, so I know!

Playmates has ceased production on this line of Star Trek movie toys because they simply were NOTselling. Basically because the film sucked so bad! I hated this hideous redesign, but I bought one anyway. I got it from a Wal-Mart bargain bin for $15. I removed all the lighting from it and used those to light my Martian War Machine. The rest of the ship ended up being blown to bits with carefully placed fireworks.

@Actionguy1 I bought all the smaller figures because they were $2 each, otherwise i wouldn't have ouched em. I'm also very dissapointed with this Enterprise Design, It looks like a refited TOS Enterprise but not quiet the Motion picture Enterprise
