Actually, Kermit doesn't get eaten here. He escapes up to the balcony (where Statler and Waldorf promptly ask for his ticket).
This is even funnier if you know Vincent Price's real-life passion for gourmet cooking (he even wrote a couple of cookbooks).

Poor Kermit, but it's still funny.
-
There's something fiendishly funny about Price's voice when he decides to partake in 'Froggy's' left arm.

@Wheeljack214 Not really. Kermit got eaten a lot more often in the old days.
Not just in the Inchworm/Glowworm sketch, but in other bits as well, such as the "Music Hath Charms" sketch (where he gets eaten by a monster piano) and "Ive Grown Accustomed to Your Face" (where he sings the song in drag while Yorick attempts to devour him/her), just to name a few.

ha! i always thought it was GORDON!!

does this monster scare the shit out of anyone else? O.O
-
@AnimaMandala I guess humor was more sophisticated back then in the pre-Spongebob Squarepants world.
-
yeah, real smart people...scare your target audience into thinking any mupppet they get to meet could eat them alive. How did their ratings not plummet to cancelation?

BORK BORK BORK ??? Y.Y
This is the 2nd time Kermit was eaten. The 1st time was by Big V in the original Inchworm sketch in 1965.
