Do you still have the Stinger? If so, how's it working for you? I recently got one, but then realized I'd owned a clone of it previously which skipped around like hell after a week of use. Any such problems, etc.?

Hey, yeah it was a great mouse... i used it heaps untill the mouse wheel wouldn't work i sent it back to the company i purchased it from & the couldn't replace it because they said it was discontinued... i loved it best mouse i have owned. it lasted about 3 months... the released a new variation which is nice.. i am thinking about buying it soon, anyway if you don't give it a flogging it should do you well.

What new variation is that? Is it like a rev. 2 or wuttt. I was just eyeing their very recent release of the Silencer... 5000 DPI; looks VERY nice. But it's basically the same as the Ozone Smog, just as the Stinger is the same as the OCZ Dominatrix, GM-4800, etc. But right now, my Stinger is serving me better than any mouse I've ever owned... None of the problems of its clones so far. I'm hesitant to shell out another $20 for the Silencer but I'm suspicious of the Stinger's longevity.

Yeah i think the Silencer is a variation of the stinger, i also like the new CM Sentinal Advance it looks decent but i think the price tag is a bit much because of all it's gimmicky features. If i were to buy any mouse it would be CM Sentinal Advance because it looks nice it's got more features then any other mouse and well i love cooler master products :)

Yeah i got 3.9.. but it wasnt very stable becase i didn't up the voltage & i have about 10 case fans :P so i have good cooling :D

Yeah, I was gonna get it... it's cheaper than the Stinger in the states now because apparently it had a lot of problems... bad quality (squeaky buttons), sensor was too high, doesn't work on certain surfaces, Phillips sensor gets flaky when you hold down certain buttons, and the middle mouse button takes a gorilla thumb... It looks pretty cool, but I think the Silencer is probably a better mouse. Cooler Master is awesome, but I don't think mice will be their forte.
