Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh Assembly has been adjourned sine die on Monday.

As soon as the days proceedings started at the state Assembly on Monday, the MLAs started shouting slogans in favour of united Andhra Pradesh and Telangana( http://connect.in.com/telangana/profile-1900269.html ).

The House began at 0900 hrs IST with Speaker N Kiran Kumar Reddy( http://connect.in.com/kiran-kumar-reddy/profile-517119.html ) taking up the question hour......

......At that point, some TDP and Congress members also started raising slogans in favour of Telangana state.

Immediately the Speaker adjourned the proceedings for 30 minutes but after the situation didnt come under control he declared that the House was adjourned sine die.

With the concerned of the House, I adjourn the House sine die, said the Speaker......

.......Amidst all this chaos, Congress MP from Vijayawada L Rajagopal was taken into preventive custody at the Hyderabad airport.

He had threatened to go on an indefinite fast to protest against creation of a separate Telangana state.
