Review of the Vuzix video eyewear. The Wrap 920 is the highest quality video eyewear out by Vuzix right now. The glasses project a 67" screen as if you were viewing it from 10' or 3m away. Both 2D and 3D video formats are compatible and the two mini LCD screens are 640 X 480 resolution with a 60hz refresh rate. All in all these are exactly what I expected them to be and Vuzix has done an amazing job manufacturing this product. Only downside is the way you have to adjust the focus but this was a clever way to hide the adjustment screws to try and make them look more like sunglasses.

  • I need to know if that is a composite cable or a regular RCA (yellow, red, white) cable.

  • @thecibernation its a regular RCA..

  • Do they have expandable memory? As in could i watch movies on the go wirelessly without an iphone or anything? Also is there a GUI built in the system? If so can I navigate through menus with a remote or a button on the glasses?

  • @PairDgreat These do not have expandable memory... they dont have memory at all lol. Yes there is a built GUI system to alter the brightness colour contrast and more importantly the mode (PC, Standard, 3D).

  • No VGA? What gives?

  • @Presidentsmartass the VGA adapter is a separate add on you can buy online for 40-50 bucks.

  • can you conect them into a tv

  • DON'T BUY THE 920!

I just got one and it sucks because you can't adjust the screen positions, save up the extra $200 bucks and grab the 1200!

  • HEY i need to know how is it playing fallout 3 or skyrim is it good or bad?

  • When you mean focus, do you mean as in prescription for glasses?

  • Who else didn't really watch the video and just play with the snow thing :)

  • @Skeatah33

That's ridiculously expensive for a simple adapter (and one it should come with, at that.)

  • @Skeatah33 Thanks for the clairty!

    Great vid!
