It is quite easy to ride on. You just have to push on the pedals. The balance is the same as on a classical bicycle.

Very very cool....not necessarily practical...but none the less - cool...and funny.

it depends on what you mean by practical. As it can be used on the roads, it could be qualified as a practical bike.

I don't see many recumbents on the roads so to see a group a laid back riders enjoying the freedom together was nice and the procumbent rider was fascinating to watch kind of like swimming on two wheels! : )
