  • umm, im not sure if u should be lecturing anyone if u think 'transonic' describes speeds of mach 5 and over.

  • because air is slowed as it goes into the engine intake..by the time it reaches the engine its travelling subsonic.

  • @britishairwayspilot1 its about time the ages medium-long range 767's and 757 ritred gracefully and not with disasters cos their getting very old. the 787 is a great all round med-long range airplane. cant wait to travel on it one day
