VW See Film Differently ident: Dudeism

VW continue their support of Independent Cinemas with a new set of idents that will screen in cinemas from 14 August 2009. Ad agency DDB worked with Moxie Pictures and director Seth Gordon (King of Kong) to find three stories that testify the power of film. In this film we see an evangelist of Dudeism - a way of life derived from watching The Big Lebowski.

The rest of us see it a a free, one-minute, high profile advertisement for our faith, the slowest growing religion in the world... courtesy of corporate heretics. They scratched our backs... so well... uh... .lost my train of thought there. Let's see... advertising for Jeebus on Trijicon gun sights used to fight in Muslim countries... versus a minute of the Dudely Lama, with a mere "brought to you by" type plug.

I'll abide the latter.
