This is a beautiful NDE. I think they wanted him to make the choice to come back and that's why he saw his 3 year old in the way he did. He looks remarkably well for all he's been through.

@arseneremy That is what the bible says. But I have no faith in the bible being the word of God. I agree with Bart Ehrman that the bible is man's word, not God's. The Creator does not need any of this ancillary 'stuff', He is all-powerful all on His own.

@k0smon Gos sent Jesus as atonement for man''s sin (rebellion) so Jesus's work was and is God's work. He said MT 11:27 "All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him." The death and resurrection into life of Jesus is the work of God. No contradictions included.

@tippitytop1 You were on the right track till you got to the part about people in hell forever. Step away from the bible for a little while, and get a different perspective on the situation by reading "Life in the World Unseen", which you can download for free from the internet.

@arseneremy You have just contradicted yourself bigtime. I agree with what you say thru the bible reference. You say "God the Father", then you turn around and say 'Jesus' Let me rephrase that last sentence so that I can agree with it. "Faith in the works of God the Father is the only way."
