Salvador Molly's Great Balls of Fire 2008 Toughest Tongue!

Every year for the last 10 years Salvador Molly's, a Portland, OR restaurant, has hosted Great Balls of Fire. Great Balls of Fire are deep fried fritters stuffed with almost two Habanero peppers & served with pureed Habanero sauce. They are EXTREMELY HOT! Great Balls of Fire is also a month-long fund raiser for the non-profit organization, Oregon HEAT. The event is kicked off with the Toughest Tongue in Town eating challenge and concluded with the King (or Queen) of Heat grand finale. This video captures some of the toughest and downright craziest people in town who think they can "grab the world by the balls" and brave the searing hot Habanero fritters - guaranteed to scorch even the strongest taste buds and rumble the most iron-cast stomachs. Can you take the heat?

@TeamAlphaRH I'm going to Portland next week and will hit up the fritters. I use pure capsaicin oil on my tacos so I'm thinking the fritts will be doable.

I just did this yesterday. BURNS but was awesome.  My ass burns today though, and after a few hours of finishing the challenge I threw up after bending over.
