The Los Angeles Lakers took on the Los Angeles Clippers in the Battle of LA, Staples Center, hallways, etc.

The Lakers destroyed the Clippers 117 to 79, one night after pummeling the Blazers the night before. Kobe Bryant had a solid game with 16 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists.

The rest of the Laker players played outstanding basketball. Farmar, Ariza, Odom were superb.

The Lakers defense, again, were suffocating for the opponents.

Yeah man the Clippers do own. They own the 14th spot in the west. They own the worst starting lineup in the league. They own the most injury-prone team in the sports. They own the most talent-less roster in basketball. They own the small possibility of a championship in the distant future if they switched to a division 2 basketball league. And they own the only chance at marring the greatness the Lakers bring to Los Angeles. If the clippers own, we might need to change the meaning of the word.

I can't believe the Lakers won this game. They just got lucky this night & beat the best team in the league. Hell we're only injured 90% of the time, we win almost 20% of our games, we're14th place in the West. Dude we're going all the way to the NBA finals this year. All that needs to happen is 4 David Stern 2 give written consent to allow us to replace the 8th seed, for all other teams starters & bench players 2 get injured & 4 their coaches to all die.
