@CLS718 I believe you are talking about the role of Lord Asrial in the film, The Golden Compass. Owen lost the role to Daniel Craig. Maybe I have it wrong.

he wasnt turned down at all so dont tell people like you know everything, he lost the role to daniel craig! i live in coventry where clive owen grew up, i attend the youth theatre he attended and im meeting him this week so yeah, dont like showing off but had to be done, he is one of my biggest inspirations to acting!
