@SaimDI I already said in front of God we are the same, we differ however in our deeds and intentions. There is a difference of what should be and what is happening like always. My source for how to live is in the Qur'an and the Sunnah which tells me and every Muslim that there is no nationality, tribalism whatever you want to call it in Islam. If other Muslims don't adhere to that I can't force them, God tells us that there is no barrier between him and the one who's oppressed...
@Designedkid In the same way, all humans are brothers. All ethnic/regional/national/sectarian identities flow into each other, there's no reason to have "Muslim" be more important than the other ones. No nationalism? Really? Even for oppressed minority groups like the Kurds, Tatars or Baloch?
I don't think denying our differences solves any ethnic conflicts. I prefer to "own" the differences and be proud of them, while also emphasizing our common humanity.
@SaimDI good point there, yes we are different, we have different languages and dialects, different lifestyles but that doesn't matter because I'm standing next to my brother in prayer, both reciting from the Qur'an We are brothers though I've never met him before speaking different languages, having different lives but greeting him with the little Arabic I know "Salam" and getting it returned The Prophet saw. told us that there is no nationalism in Islam, we are the same, before God. :)
@MiSSloveish One language? What about Malay, Punjabi, Urdu, Kazakh, Turkish and Persian? What about all the colloquial dialects of Arabic, which are unintelligible amongst each other and are more like distinct languages?
Why is it that Muslims have to take anti-racism to this weird extreme of "we're all exactly the same, as we should be?". Most Muslims do not speak Arabic, and there are many different lifestyles Muslims practice. Your lifestyle is more affected by class than religion.
@BoboCarsi - And that's the difference between Christianity (other religions) and Islam. Every other religion has language and culture barriers, Islam does not. We have One God (Allah), one Lifestyle (the Sunnah), one central language (Arabic; the Quran). And that is what makes us ONE UMMAH. Culture and religion are not the same things because cultural principles often contradict religious principles.

@ashfi1994 .. and every culture has its examples of wins and losses... The past is a lesson that we can learn from.. surely... Holding on to labels like "muslim" or Hindu or Buddihist or Christian... can lead us to living in the 'past' rather than in the now! they say that -"Now is the first step to the rest of our lives" .. So to Complete a journey to Treating each other even better than ever before, then maybe taking the first step is a good start toa road to excellence maybe
And Hindu castes. It's well known that that the majority of lowest caste Hindus (untouchables) were treated much better by Muslims living around them, who saw them as human, compared to upper caste Hindus.
this is muslim attack on non-Muslims.. Funny how does not mention the 30 million Hindus that have been enslaved by Islam in a bloody history again the non-Muslims.. ha ha.. Islam may not have invented slavery, but watch 'Islam Africa Slave' and witness 1400 years of slavery that have continued since Mohammad immortalized slavery in the Quran.. watch 'Modern Islam Slaves' and witness it is still happening. Males often fully castrated - BAN ISLAM

@TheJoeB1Kanobe Go do some reading on Indian history.
And Hindu castes. It's well known that that the majority of lowest caste Hindus (untouchables) were treated much better by Muslims living around them, who saw them as human, compared to upper caste Hindus.
