Not surprised this mission went awry. I'll add my own Hunt the Chimera experience...
Turned up at this mission only to have a group of Bandits randomly (???) spawn and engage us as well a inexplicable pack of dogs (????) which were attacking the Chimera... all of which in turn managed to set off an alarm at Skadovsk which simultaneously failed the mission, locked me out of Skadovsk for 6 hours and culminated in (????) 3000 RU for 'completing the mission'.
Hmmmmm...

Trapper recommends a shotgun for killing pseudogiants. I'd recommend 40mm grenades. VOG-25s are somewhat cheaper than M433s. 40-mils are also ideal for killing chimeras. Only takes one.
