Evo 9 vs an STI. Evo won the race but started to slow down first because of the upcoming car.

  • both fast cars without a doubt, but i love hp more then tq thats why i have an evo haha, but i have to admit theres a place in my heart for stis, they might handle for shit compared to the evo, but torquey plus nice advanced tq distribution control is a nice feature wish my evo had haha to each there own, both cost money to go faster.

  • evo's and subarus are both amazing cars always going head to head either way u look at it they r beasts on the road i dont own 1 but i do have a ralliart the next best thing

  • @xDRAN0x

No that's no it. It's just the fact that you have to re-tune after every mod for it to run right.

  • @imaginesc4 Maybe he isn't that good with Subarus? My 290hp WRX runs like a charm and is more gaz-friendly on the highway.

  • good race looks like it got a bit hairy at the end there

  • Because we all know that we buy Evo's and STI's for the interior. But he is right, the Evo does come with an option of leather Recaro racing bucket seats. They are beautiful if you are not to large. But in the end you are buying the engine, (turbocharger) and the incredible all-wheel-drive system on both cars. Who cares about the interior?? I can think of ten super cars that have less luxurious interiors then either of the cars!!

  • @evo9stikilla

Not sure where you get your info from as well but stock sti doesn't come18psi factory.

I've been in an evo 9 and Sti (I own one) and I must say that the interior of evo 9 is just plain boring. I assure you I am not being bias here, the interior of the evo 9 is just plain ugly compare to the sti.

Its an opinion i guess. you have yours, and i have mine.

  • @evo9stikilla Prices may be different to where you live but here in Australia they have priced the Evo's so that they are about $4,000 more than the STI, STI are also set at factory stock 14.5psi compared to EVO 18-19psi, with the 2.5L means the engine is bigger and is slower off the line but is faster mid-top range torque.. End results both are nice cars but comes down to the driver and supporting mods

  • @we274 i dont know where you are getting your info but you are way wrong, first of all sti's were 4-6 grand more than an evo, second of all the evo interior is better recaro leather seats on the evo 9 and some carbon fiber inside car, second of all evo ix stock boost is set at 19 psi from factory and spikes to 21 stis have it around 18 psi and lets not forget about the 2.5 liter engine the sti has as to the Evos 2.0.

  • but at the same time sti aftermarket parts are listed as :for every dollar you spend on aftermarket parts for an sti you spend 67 cents for evos. evos are much cheaper to upgrade.
