It is Amy. This was a demo for Fallen that didn't make the cut. And yes, she was quite a bit younger - I think it also may have been recorded in a different way to make it sound different.
The quality of recording equipment can have an impact on how it sounds after, so it's possible this was lower quality.

If you listen closely, or you listen to Evanescence like a thousand times a day like me lol you'll hear it's quite different. It's like the difference between the fallen and the origin version of my immortal
I prefer this version ... sounds almost ... more real, easier to sing if u get me
