Washington State Storm - 42 to 50 foot waves

This wave crashed over a 35 foot jetty. This jetty is located in Ocean Shores Washington.

not a 42-50ft wave, the jetty is only 35, a 10ft wave can easily producer a 50ft high spray when hitting a cliff/break wall.

I was standing on that Jetty when I was about 5 months pregnant taking the typical picture. calm beautiful day then BAM a 10 foot wave out of no where crashed and hit me and knocked me down and my leg fell in between to rocks cut my knee it hurt so bad. I was of course worried about my baby but I caught myself on my knees. NO one saw it coming. It's a gorgeous view though~
