Claira: Faithful?
Claira spoke so quietly Ally could barely hear her. For the first time in a week, Claira made eye contact with someone. And when they looked at Clairas they were wide with confusion.
Ally suddenly realized what she had let slip out.
Oops.
Claira: What do you mean faithful?
Ally shifted uncomfortably, this time she was the one avoiding eye contact. Claira began to get impatient.
Claira: Ally, explain please. You know something I dont
Ally: Joes been cheating on you
Claira sat there on her bed in silence for a moment staring at the ground. Then she shook her head.
Claira: No, he wouldnt. Hes a gentleman
Ally: This is why I didnt say anything. You wont believe me
Claira suddenly got up, grabbing her jacket. Ally called after her as she ran down the stairs almost tripping over her feet at the bottom, she stumbled but caught herself and kept running towards the door. She opened up the door, only to find Nick standing on the step winding his fist up to knock on the door. Claira and him were both startled by each others presence, and wow, was it an akward moment.
Nick: Oh hi Claira. Do you mind if I come in?
Claira: Why are you here?
Nick: Whoa, easy there. I have nothing to do with Joes scams, dont take it out on me
Claira: Sorry Nick, Im just a little—
Nick: Yeah I know how he can be. Actually hes the reason Im here
Ally came running around the corner. When she saw Nick she stopped in her tracks.
Ally: Nick! I didnt know you were coming over. Whats up?
Nick: Joe kicked me out. He found out Ally, hes not happy
