I am not sure I really understand what you are saying. If you mean that we are somehow guided by labels into "subscribing" into one form of artistic expression or another, then I agree. Still, having as a sole subject of study myself (!?) I have not conluded yet upon the psychological process that dicates this attitude.

I appreciate the Fluxus, expressionism and Dada movements/labels, but it seems the only reason art needs to be labeled, as such, is because 99.9% of people wouldn't see the point otherwise. It's sad really. Great film btw.
