Mine started smoking after that. I called support and they said your boost method makes it produce exhaust fumes from all the power it makes.

I have a transmitter similar to that of the Belkin, will everything inside it be the same? Don't want to bother with the hassle of opening it up and finding out they're not the same. Thank you.

I really don't know. The only way to tell would be to open it up, or find a diagram of its inner workings online

I know. They just raided my house this morning. It looks like I'll be spending the next few years of my life in a federal penitentiary.

I find this vid very useful, but i cant tell which black box to take off cuz there is 3 different ones. A really thin one, a normal one and a really big one.

    Hi,

I have a rather more complex fm transmitter (fm modulator) that has the car charger connected so that it just sticks out of the car charger port. I tried opening the device up to notice that there were two motherboards, one on the top for the digital screen and one lodged in the body of the plastic for the battery etc.

I tried using your methods on the top motherboard that I could gain access to but there were only two wires (red and green)

Could I get your email to show you some pics?

I have my cheap fm transmitter sitting in front of me past my keyboard that I got from the local Family Dollar for six dollars a couple years ago. The signal is okay but I want to make it work LONGER than it is operating at now and i think this video will help with the process as i solder the antenna on.

All you need to do is solder a jumper across the "little black box" and leave everything else alone.

I have a transmitter similar to that of yours but i had no screws so i broke it up. It says both ant and ant1, and they are connected to each other, which one should i use?
