I think he's the best rossinian tenor nowadays after JDF. Very great tenor... what facility for the high notes and for the coloratura!!

This tenor is simply divine. Sometimes i do not know if i am listening to a tenorino or a falsetto. The voice is so light and sweet but with a strenght that is almost unbelieveble. Bravo. Bravo. Bravissimo.

BRAVO BRAVO BRAVO IL MIO AMICO MAXIM!!!!!! KE TECNICA PERFETTA!!!!!!!!!

Molto, molto bravo! Voce squillante e ben timbrata.

Thank you so much for this - are you in any sharing group, because apparently no one has uploaded this production yet (and not the Swiss television material either).
About tenors - Mironov has had a healthy pause in his career, certainly. He is among the best, but really no one - not even JDF - can compare to Siragusa, both acting and singing-wise, IMHO (JDF is too sentimental!), and there are also singers like fabulous Sergei Romanovsky, Albelo. We never had that many greats before.

@steffeng40 Thanks for your comment. I am not in any sharing group. I just share what I have here. There also are on YT two other exceptional clips of Desdemonas scenes during the dress rehearsal. Since this (only 4 performances!) was regarded a a major musical event one can except (and hope) more (audio and video) to come up. With Mironov, the tenors you mention we are very lucky to have a generation of singers, with their specific voices, who also knows about acting

@steffeng40 A special mention for John Osborn too: a moving, powerful and imperial Otello!

@AndrewAARus 100% agree with you. This young tenor, but already with an impressive career, has everything to impose himself as a major bel canto tenor: voice of course but tons of emotion, very impressive acting and presence on stage.
Some very interesting clips on your channel too; definitely worth a visit!
