Many Natives traded their roll number for a uniform during the civil war and thus assimulated into the military. 1st mounted cherokee rifles of the confederacy and union. After that , they could no longer register as Natives.

and have forgotten who you are. You adopt the culture of the enemy and mirror the culture they created on MTV in order to destroy your children. Now you have gangs on the Rez and your kids are speaking and acting like uneducated thugs.
Most of my brother-in-laws speak Ebonics, not Lakota like they should. They go around acting like "angstroms thugs" instead of real Lakota Warriors. A true Lakota warrior is supposed to help his people not terrorize them...
