Final Fantasy VIII - The Landing - Orchestrated Remix

The Landing - Final Fantasy 8 OST
One of my favorite Final Fantasy songs. This one took alot of work to get some of the instruments to sound right playing the notes that was needed. I also wanted to avoid using the "Lead Saw" which is a synthy sound effect used in the original song. Instead I used Pizzicatos which come in around 0:52. As usual I tried to keep the original feel as much as possible.

This is one of the greatest songs from any game I have played. Music is just downright great but aren't there better programs out there? You're on the right track and it's well done but it can be better....

Wait, Squall needed a map to figure out where to go? While they just had to cross a canal? and the explosions, fireballs and traser fire weren't a sign of where to go?

Its not orchestrated if you use midi instruments. Orchestrated usually implies being played by an orchestra. You also clipped some of the sound. And whats up with the sounds effects? I was wanting to hear the music only.

cutscenes still look good in current time ;d most f the stuff that looks bad is just the terrible compression so it fits on cds they should re release this game with higher quality movie clip encodes and some better in game textures
