I made this video in 2010, but there's a much better one up now, which is in ELEVEN languages and a lot more fun to watch! Click the above link to check it out!
You can also see a TEDx talk I gave on how I learned languages as an adult here:

hahaha, well honestly, yes my heart is in Spanish, but the thing is that I am just at the beginning of ‘intermediate’ in German, which I still find it hard to say I even like.I just like knowing it,if that make sense. So I don’t want to quit it in the middle, but I want Spanish too much at the same time… sigh, probably I just want too many things in too little time :D

Studying two languages might be difficult.

If you love spanish, learn it! What is the point in wasting your time with german (no offense) if you heart is with Spanish? Plus, spanish is one of the most used languages in the world, you could visit the Americas, Miami, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Columbia, etc. Or you could wait til your done with German.

Dear Irish stranger, you are my new idol!!! I am 18,and I speak perfectly English after 14 years of studying it. Now I study German as a 2nd foreign lang. and Im very passionate abt learning languages. In fact, you speak all the lang. I’d love to master one day (except Hungarian,Esperanto). What I need to ask you is, as I am very in love with Spanish,I started studying it but had to stop due to school stuff. Now it’s almost summer,do you think it’ll be good to start it again alongside German?

I was bilingual in German and English and learned Farsi at age 5 so I know those languages automatically and sound native. I learned Spanish, French and Italian later on and I have a German accent when I speak those so I am still in progress... your German is better than the German grad school students that I tutor...

your italian is very good! (I assume you prepared those sentences in advance because the grammar is perfect ;-) )

just a thing about the accent.. "open" your vowels as much as you can (when due), because that typical english-speaking accent of yours (you-all) is still hearable in some of the words you utter (e.g. "convenzionali", "accademici"), although much less than with usual learners of italian
