Your Daily Politics Video Blog: We bring you more of our conversation with legendary political operative Roger Stone. In this installment Roger tells us what he sees as the current state and future of the Republican party.
he could've just simply said that "its not beyond repair" and left it at that. But leave it to a republican to sympathize to being with a woman with a venereal disease.
BA-ZING!
And if you mean the end of a 2-party system as in a consolidation into 1 party. Then yes. The Democrats are just as war mongering as the Republicans. There's just more dissenters in the democratic party.
I take it all back. I have now seen some of Roger Stone's OTHER comments and he is a typical Republican propagandist. So I dunno why he is being so suddenly candid and transparent now? Perhaps there are SOME in their party who (now) truly do want to change? Scary.
True. But his analogy worked fairly well to illustrate his point. And he had good points. GREAT points even. He was very self-aware for a Republican, almost bordering on enlightened. If the Republican party finds more guys like this, then they are far from dead. On the other hand, if the Republicans divide into moderate and conservative factions that would be even better. As Dems we rarely come together with one voice. So maybe this will be the END of the 2-party system? I sure HOPE so!

He's right about the tactics - not the content - battle rhythm, three-part definition strategy.

You know how sometimes you can tell that someone has sold their soul just by looking at them? This guy is one of those people.
