Sephardic Anusim Center in Israel

For about a year God has whispered within my heart that it's time my people, the Sephardic Anusim, take control of their God-given destiny. If they don't, someone else will.
Sephardic Anusim has lived a life of relative flight for the last five centuries. Hence, many of them tend to be vulnerable in terms of receiving direction from others, even strangers that appear to be right. I must say that many of our people have allowed others to influence our destiny for a very long time.
There is a host of pro-Israel Zionists jumping in to inform our people about their probable Sephardic Jewish roots and their need to become Israeli citizens and live in Israel. I don't think they're always aware of what and how they're doing what they do. I don't think they all mean any harm. But, the fact is that this kind of behavior is what our people have had to endure all these generations and it needs to be curbed. Please let me explain. . .
There is nothing wrong with others of a different race, culture or persuasion lending us a hand for us to achieve our destiny. In fact we invite it. We need it and the bible supports it. But it's one thing to "lend a hand" and another to lay a hand through use of ulterior motives or incompatible methods. I use the word "incompatible" because the Sephardic Anusim I'm referring to is of Hispanic/Latino ancestry. And I must say our people vary tremendously from community to community, from city to city, state to state and from country to country. We can't expect that all Hispanics or all Latinos are the same across the USA, Mexico, Central America, South America, and Islands of the Caribbean and all the way to Iberia. In other words, we can't lump them all together assuming that 'they're all the same.' Pro-aliyah workers need to be very cautious that they themselves don't perpetuate the very thing our people have suffered all these years.

@lungleg nobody has their DNA tested. too expensive, besides your relatives have to be tested too. no lab is authorized to do this. when you hear people talk about testing, know they're lying...

How do you have your DNA tested? And which side do you test? I have a ton of Sephardic surnames in my family tree and would like to confirm if I do indeed have any Jewish ancestry. I would really appreciate any help. Thanks.

My aunt went to the Diaspora Research Institute in Tel Aviv, and found out our family is a crypto-jewish family. (Colombia). I've always been fascinated by Judaism since I was a little boy. Interesting huh?

why they say for you to be a real jew you mother needs to be a jewish?if its the father that or male that keeps the dna intact... isnt that the other way around=? thru the female dna rthat the jewish dna is passed? maybe not maybe thats why the surname is passed by the father cause the genes are passed by the father... but if u have more races in your family or background are you still a jew or justg a mixed blood celtic roman jewish... specially ashkenazi many look euriopean white not semitic

@ajua99 - convert?? Why? Judaism is a tribal identity, not a religion. Therefore, you do not convert to Judaism but identify yourself as such. Just like the Apostle Paul who was a Jew by blood but professed Christianity. Further, there is no return to ''Israel'' as no such nation exists. The Bible clearly states that only the Messiah can establish the Kingdom. So far, I have not seen him nor gotten his instruction to return to the Promised Land.
