i simply cannot stop watching this. this is the best version of this piece i've ever heard. kogan's interpretation is just so powerful and dramatic.

I think this is a better rendition of the Opera than Sarasates Carmen Fantasy. It starts better and sounds more epic.

For the record: This recording of Kogan is not true. It casts a false shadow on Mr Kogan. This recording is running faster than recorded, thus changing the key of the work, and the speed of everything, including the vibrato which brings so much life to a work. It is untrue and unfair. If this were VSO's to the proper key, it would be fair to judge. It is not.
