  • I miss this... have to see if I can find some new challenges out here ;-)

  • Love this vid! We've skied the Hatteras-Ocracoke ferry's wake a few times (OBX, NC). No vids as yet. Maybe soon... to bad there’s no apropos tunes to go along with the Hatteras Ferry, though.

  • Very cool. I have done the same thing on the Snake river in Washington state.

  • TRAILER PARK BOYS WERE CLOSE TO THERE

  • awesome looks like a Blast!

  • @richardtheone Interference doesn't necessarily mean physical contact is needed. If the ferry though that the kayaker and OC paddler were in danger (of being hit by the ferry or otherwise) the ferry would by law need to stop and lend assistance.

Stopping the ferry (unintentionally) because of their (potential) negligence could be deemed interference because it could not complete its typical function.

Personally, I would have surfed too. Also, I know the kayaker personally, good friend of mine.

  • i love doing that the only thing is that we do it on smaller boats.... XD

    nice one gys

  • I don't see any interference and I don't see that the danger is greater where they are than it would be 100 ft back or to the side, provided that they have the skill to handle the turbulent water, which they apparently do.

Great paddling, great song for it, great vid. Rock on.

  • @noobtoob really? but how are they interfering when they are behind? they aren't stopping it.. can you elaborate?

  • @richardtheone Unfortunately yes, it's called "interfering with a commercial vessel" but that's okay, it's tool cool for the coast guard to shut it down.
