Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin on 30 Rock. When you're a graduate student, you feel pretty disconnected from the world. So, it's always nice to find out that someone knows you exist!

The best part of this video are all the grad students struggling with its meaning.

Should they be insulted? Should they laugh? Is there some kind of inside joke they're missing? Could 30 Rock really be making fun of them? How is that possible? Maybe by 'the worst' she means 'the best' because because everyone knows grad students are so very smart and hard working and everyone loves them and why would their favorite show say otherwise?

The need for validation through media. Nobody is immune.

-because they are of interest to anybody especially if your ancestors came from Western Europe, but in saying that I believe these are international words that traveled the globe before modern alphabets came into existence,I would appreciate some constructive criticism : ) so don't be shy.

No,I don't have any real opinion of Grad students or undergraduates, they are not my concern I just hijacked this video for my own agenda which is the ETYMOLIGY of words like grade, which I think are much older than there first recordings in modern texts,I also believe words like this evolved from a root word that existed before all the modern languages broke up into there separate groups,so there for we see remnant words in a lot of languages that have a common source.U should read all my-

This is their third or fourth reference to nobody liking a know-it-all. Grad students is a broad range; it spans majors such as Underwater Basket Weaving to Art Therapy, or even less practical, like Sociology.
