I was 17 years old when this movie came out an I always been a fan of Mr. tate movies but when this came out mannnnn thats when the crush developed lol I was on a date (high school bf) I remember him saying "u like that type of dude dont it" an b4 I knew it I said DUH!! LOL I didn't mean too say it like that to him lol (so wrong) but hey he asked me in the middle of the movie lol I remember getting home an calling my friend telling her girllllll u got to go see love jones O DOG was so sexy

OMG at the reggae club scene I had to pause the movie to put on my fb how sexy Larenz Tate looked in that scene. I was born 1991 so I just got a chance to watch and understand it fully I liked it alot. I need to know the reggae song they were dancing to though. Cause he looked mighty sexy.

This is my favorite movie of ALL TIMES!!! Such a beautiful urban edge love story. I love Nia and Lorenz together...and this club dance scene was hot and sexy! Wish the writer had made more movies like this. I think this was his one and only but it's a classic!!!
