Whoever suggested she use the nightclub pianist's technique of anticipating the downbeat in the lyrical sections should be ashamed. It almost spoils the whole performance.

That's a very lyrical performance, especially after watching Gilels run through it like he has a train to catch. Missed notes and occasional too-slowness notwithstanding this would get up there with Steffan Scheja and Murray McLachlan as my favorite interpretations. The video sampling during the fast parts gives it a hypnotizing effect, by the way :)

This is by far one of the most mature interpretations of this piece I have seen on youtube or anywhere -- especially for such a young performer. Excellent work on one of my favorite pieces!

Even i never saw Ms Eleanor Wong 黃懿倫 before, im extremely amazed by her quality of teaching just by looking at the quality of her students.
Two of the most successful students of hers are Rachel and Ms Colleen Lee who won the 6th place in the 15th Chopin International Competition in 2005
